This case was the solution to the sleek, curved design of the new AppleTV remote. This flattens the ground and the silicone texture greatly improves grip! I like it more than the remote itself!

The lid fits the remote perfectly and feels good, but the hole in the front for the IR emitter is too small/deep. I programmed the remote to control the soundbar, but now that the lid is on I have to tilt it RIGHT to adjust the volume. Either that or remove the front cover. In any case, it's pretty annoying.

Fits great and I haven't had any issues with the touchpad as others have said. Much needed with the new controller as the ergonomics are really bad. My old one had a cover so I could find this little thing. It's big enough not to get lost easily, but it just doesn't feel very comfortable in your hand, at least not without a case. Very satisfied, especially for the price.

I give it 4 stars because it's the best case out there. All case manufacturers screwed this up, all getting in the way of the already limited space of the new trackpad/scrub. When trying to press the buttons, I constantly get interference from the case. Manufacturers should lower the case edge next to the trackpad and not bring the case edge too close.

I bought it for my upgraded Apple TV. Buy a glow-in-the-dark so it's easy to fix things when I'm watching a movie in the dark. The case is very durable and protects your remote 100%, the reason for the three stars is that it doesn't light up at all. so weak it's not even a reason. If you're looking for a glow-in-the-dark version, stay away from this one. If you just want to protect your remote control, you can turn to other companies. It's like the old saying about putting lipstick on the pig. Apple continues to make remotes that aren't ergonomic and that no case can fully fix. (Of course it would be nice to use a Firestick remote with an Apple TV.) I'm hoping the silicone will become less slippery over time. Shelves at both ends help keep your hand in place.
