This case fits my Tab A perfectly and is exactly what I wanted. It's a slim design that makes it easy to slip into your trunk bag. It protects the screen and is easier to store in the case. The lid is meant to be folded, but I don't use it that way. Because it is designed to be folded, the crease on the lid is a little weak at the crease. I have another one for another tablet, it's firmer and doesn't flex unless I flex it, which I don't. Other than that, this is what I wanted.

This is a very decent case at a price that more than meets my expectations. It covers my 8" Tab A and seems to hold it very securely. Built-in magnets ensure a near-instant snap when the lid is opened, and it's comfortable to hold open while reading with one hand. Ports are also easily accessible. The real test would be to see how well it protects when I drop the tablet, but I'm not going to do that on purpose. Buy one, at this price you have nothing to lose and you get decent protection.

I thought it was an issue with the tablet but after a long scratch I found that I opened the cover of this case fully where it touched the back of the tablet, the screen turned off as if you were closing the case from the front, what it should do. It's not really a bug, but I wanted people to know about it.
