They're not ceramic. They appear cast in plaster and painted green. As soon as I put the BGE on the supports, one of them started to crumble. After picking up the broken pieces, I was able to squeeze them together with two fingers.

You look great. You seem very strong. Unfortunately, all 4 feet were different thicknesses. It is impossible to align an egg without shimming. See my photo. They didn't look flat. Unfortunately I would have kept them with better quality control.

The quality control of this product is definitely at question. I got 4 corners tonight and once I aligned them I realized they were all different heights. Not what you would expect when trying to lay an egg on a flat riser. Needless to say they will be returned.

The product works perfectly, but anyone who has thought of connecting ceramic blocks in thin plastic without gaskets should seriously check their head. They are badly chipped and damaged, but still usable. For God's sake think before you do anything.

Two of the four legs arrived with broken parts but still in the box. This showed me that their packaging should better protect their product. The chip was on the outside of one leg and the thin inside of the other. One of the legs is thinner than the others causing my egg to sit three feet. I've tried to find a place that actually supports it, but couldn't find it. I put three which reflects the quality. It works but not as expected.
