Nice solid poker, best in Camp Kitchen

This is a great poker, especially since I couldn't feel it before buying it. We bought this as a Father's Day gift and he loves it. It's long enough but not too long. The tines are strong and can easily move trunks. The vent is new but not used much in our home.

Great Poker - Stove Accessory

It's just great. Instead of a hook and spear, he has two curved pincers. Great for pushing back logs or picking up large coals to move. It's very important to me that it has a dual purpose, so the blower is amazing. I keep a small retractable straw in my camping and bushcraft lighter, but for a home or family fire this is just what you need.

The coolest!

I got one of these from my brother for his birthday over 10 years ago. It immediately became my favorite gift and I use it constantly. It stayed in great condition until the mouthpiece fell off maybe 2 years ago, but I still used it until last weekend when it disappeared from my campfire supplies. I'm sure it's around somewhere, but I used the excuse that it's my birthday again, so I bought it for myself. And, FWIW, my 10-year-old granddaughter used it to start an amazing fire last night andโ€ฆ

Don't knock until you've tried!

This product is very well made and works BETTER than advertised. We have a small old wood stove that can run out of air and in the winter it was common for us to put out the fire several times a day and we had to start the fire again, sometimes from scratch. This item will take the smallest embers, I mean the size of a pea, and allow you to revive them with extra fuel and prevent the fire from going out completely. It also works great in a wood fired grill and thanks to that our cooking time is

Excellent AFTER modification

Sturdy and well made and finished. Blow into the (comfortable) brass mouthpiece and the air will escape through the small hole between the tines. Use it to fan the flames of a dying fire. Basically a very useful fire tool. Easier to guide and control than bellows. BUT: The hole between the teeth was too small, which made blowing very difficult and resulted in insufficient airflow. After I drilled it to just under 1/4" diameter, everything worked great: blowing was easy and airflow was strongโ€ฆ

Efficient and good-looking

At first glance, the punch needle seemed like an expensive piece of equipment, being essentially a narrow metal tube, but it does the job well - much more effectively and safely than Close your face to fire and blow on the coals to ignite them. The vents are positioned at just the right angle to direct air to the perfect spot. You can blow lightly to start a new fire or blow hard on the embers to start firewood. my height is 6 feet 4 inches (195 cm); I was concerned that the poke might be a bit

Worth $$... The best firefighting tool.

Just bought my 3rd from 2007. The only weak link is that the part you blow into can break off OVER TIME and I wasn't too lenient on that. Bought it for camping and thrown around loading and unloading etc. I ran over the second one with my truck and the end broke off. What are you going to do? Seven years have passed since the second. I still have it but want a new one for the new house that has a fire pit and the existing one goes back in the camp bag. Believe me. You won't find anything likeโ€ฆ

One of the BEST camping accessories you will ever buy.

This is AWESOME! I didn't think this product would be so useful. First, it's a lot lighter than I could have imagined, yet durable. Easily moves logs of any size. Ideal length. You are in control, but you are not directly above the fire and you are not enveloped in smoke. The claw has a perfect angle and a charcoal briquette fits perfectly inside. Genius! It was good design work. The best is the blowpipe. When I first read about it, I thought it was a trick. I figured it would take a titanicโ€ฆ

To hell with the fur

I have a charcoal grill, love charcoal and refuse to use lighter liquids as I always smell and taste difference when I eat. I've spent a lot of time learning about bellows and how expensive they are for such a simple device. Instead, I just blew into the fire. My wife saw me doing it one day and complained that I was burning my face. I'll admit there were days when I felt like I'd cooked more face than steak, but I realized that's the price I pay for not using lighter fluid. . One day, quite by
