Excellent mount. This thing is heavy. It holds my 5ft Firestik antenna straight up while I'm driving over 60mph. I recommend this spring mount.

Very good product. I just installed it with Firestik (FS-3BK) and they work great together. It is a very strong spring and does not bounce while driving (even off-road).

Exactly what they say and it keeps your antenna vertical even when you're cruising the freeway with enough spring force to flex during a ride to bend in the bush. I have a 5ft antenna and it works great.

I gave 4 stars because I won't say I like it, it's just a device! It hasn't been used in the field yet, my winter project isn't finished yet. I believe it will hold up and perform as expected. Use a Firefly 3 baseboard attached together with a quick release. Will keep commenting if this doesn't work as expected.

I have a 4" FireStik antenna and needed a spring base for off-road use, but I didn't want the wind to pull the antenna back when driving down the freeway. This keeps it in place The antenna stays upright even at 130 km/h on the Autobahn, but there is no problem with the antenna bending to one side when the secondary line is low or when I have to move into my garage.
