Disappointing Quality of Electrical Wire

Tools and Home Improvement products should highlight optimal quality, but this electrical wire falls short of expectations. While the voltage landscape outdoor lighting works well with DIY projects, the wire material is thin and brittle making it prone to breakage during installation. The packaging didn't provide adequate protection either, resulting in damaged goods..

Pros
  • Compatible with DIY projects
Cons
  • Brittle wire material prone to breakage, poorly packaged.

Perfect for low voltage landscape lighting

I've installed this 14 gauge on 100 foot trails with LED lighting totaling about 60 watts. In the end there is no drop in light intensity, which would indicate a sufficient size.

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • not trendy
