Fiskars 1905001001 Softouch Scissors: Precise 5-Inch Length with 1-3/4-Inch Cut Review

Bought to replace a similar pair of scissors that mysteriously disappeared from the house when my daughter moved into the dorm. Hm. I use them for handicrafts with paper, among other things. They are excellent for complex tasks. My favorite scissors. I hid this new pair in my bedside table. Maybe it won't go away like the old one.

Ideal for precise cuts! I bought these to keep in my insect storage set specifically for cutting labels for museum pieces. I have used them in 6 institutions since purchase and they are exactly what I was hoping for! They allow you to get a very clean cut and anything you miss can easily be trimmed with short but sharp blades. Highly recommended!

I love these scissors, they are high quality and I have several pairs. Gave a lower overall rating because I bought from this listing, even though the other listing had the scissors $3 cheaper because they were turquoise. The included scissors are orange. I will still use them but I spent extra money for a nice color so I'm annoyed that the color doesn't show.

I bought these for my mother who has very severe hand arthritis. They are very good for her to have her hair cut. It's a little hard to lock and unlock. Since they're pretty sharp, she worries about just leaving them open. Instead, she slipped little foam tubes onto each blade, and it works well. I have also used them and they are very easy to use. I had no trouble locking and unlocking them. They cut well.

I love these scissors and always have one at home. They are compact, as is the safety lock, and are also very sharp for everyday use. Also, I just had a blade break on a new pair for no apparent reason and when I sent the photo and warranty claim to Fisakar they sent me a new pair straight away! Very responsive customer service and very reliable products.

These little scissors are great for what I bought them for - curves cut and more small places where large scissors are impractical. They mostly meet my expectations from Fiskars as they are comfortable to hold, make clean and precise cuts and the spring action makes them easy to use. Unfortunately, after only a few days of use, the orange locking button broke off and can no longer be stored in the closed position. I can handle it so I won't be sending it back.

I ordered these scissors at the end of December and according to shipping details I should have received them in the first days of January.
