I use it to cut heavy duty clear Scotch (3M) packing tape in shipping and postal packages. These have never held together. They also have a very nice smooth and precise cutting blade with the right coefficient of friction. It's way better than Scotch's non-stick scissors, which, after all, couldn't get through a package without sealing so tightly that the tape might ruin it. The only drawback so far is that the finger holes are a bit small if you have big fingers.

I bought these scissors specifically for cutting tape for crafts. Seems to do the job pretty well. Also bought Scotch Precision Ultra Edge non-stick scissors through Revain. Scotch seems to be slightly better at cutting tape. However, this pair is getting pretty close.

I bought these because I liked the larger handle and the comfortable hole cover. The problem is that for some reason the scissors start to drag at a certain point when opening and closing. Opening and closing therefore requires more force than necessary, leading to a lack of precision and pressure points on the hands.

I have two other scissors of this brand and model. You are perfect. For some reason these scissors are heavy and difficult to use. I'm disappointed. I have tried treating them with a silicone based lube but they are still stiff and difficult to cut. I hope the stiffness will go away on its own, but I'm not too optimistic. Otherwise they arrived within the promised time frame and reportedly without damage.
