3/8 " connectors? No.

All my other 3/8" connectors. This cooler was 5/16 inch. I had to buy spike adapters and another hose to get the thing working. If I hadn't been in a hurry I would have sent it back.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Some cons

I connected this heatsink to my GPU AIO system and it still works great. I still had to wash up some garbage. The barb fittings are 3/8 but I was able to fit my 5/16 hose on them after softening the hose with some heat. I have the original AIO heatsink on top of my case and this one on the bottom (just in case there are any leaks, but not yet). _____________________________ This is a year later and it's still working great. I have no leaks at all.

Pros
  • Awesome
Cons
  • Running speed

Must include fan mounting screws.

Fan screws are missing. They should include screws (since only one fan type and size will fit). Or they should offer pre-installed fans as an option for this product. Otherwise a great massive cooler for many applications. Doesn't flow (yet).

The block has worked well so far.

The block itself was solid and worked. until suddenly a hole burst behind one of the screws that held the fans in place. The protrusions for fastening the screws have a very small tolerance. When I installed the fans on the block I didn't realize how close and one of the screws broke a spot on the fins. It was a few months until last night when coolant suddenly spurted out from behind that screw. Suffice to say I'm not happy. Not only do they not supply the correct screws for this unit, but as…

Works for what I want. No leaks (yet)

Installed on my CNC's X gantry. I hope to be able to install a fan soon. I use it to cool my water cooled spindle. This restricts the flow a bit, but not enough to make you sweat. The hose ridges are 3/8" in diameter and the vinyl hose works well after heating the hose (hair dryer). I also have clamps on the connectors. But since the pressure is low, I probably don't need them. (Using a fountain pump to circulate distilled water.) I know I need to clean hanging hoses. ;-P Came with screws and…

Not a bad deal, with some caveats

I wanted a larger heatsink to upgrade my cooling system so I could run even quieter with slower fans. But I also looked for discounts. It fits and works great. I had two small problems that I solved and you can too. First, my system relies on 3/8" ID flexible tubing and the fittings are much smaller. I solved this problem by first fitting the next size tubing onto the ports and then fitting the system tubing onto them. The clamps went further, there were no leaks. Secondly, the holes seemed to…

Buy a flex seal for this thing

The radiator needed to be flushed as soon as I got it but I do it with most of my stuff and I'm glad I did because there's a lot of metal gave debris. If you are using a soft hose for this thing I would suggest taking a flexible gasket and caulking the outside edge of the hose before adding it to the radiator as it will splatter. After that the radiator basically did what it was supposed to and after that I had no more problems with it. If you need to purchase an additional product for this to…

Pros
  • Heavy duty
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Cheap way to get some pretty good water cooling.

This is cheap in a category that is always overpriced. It's not the most efficient or prettier heatsink you'll find in the long run, but it will keep your CPU or GPU cooler than most air coolers. However, I wouldn't use it to cool both of them in your circuit. For that price you can just buy an extra heatsink and it will be STILL cheaper than most of the more established brands.

  • This is amazing
