I found this kit to be of high build quality and performance. They connected my old R-12 meter and my R-134a air conditioner's meter ports with no leaks.

So I bought them in 2016 (now 06/15/2020) but now the bottom won't close. Despite being stored in my garage at room temperature, the bearings appear to have rusted. It's not great if you ask me. Looking back, I'd happily buy a type that screws in after the clutch to compress the Schrader valves.

For years I used my R-12 can stopcocks on R-134 cans by screwing the R-12 collar upside down onto the threaded hole in the R-134 can. I have an old R-12 A/C sensor kit that no longer works with my new R-134a vehicles. I purchased FJC Inc. 6025 Quick Connect Manifold Conversion Kit totaling $29.65 to keep these sensors for use with my new cars. The high and low pressure fitting is easy to assemble and install. The quality of these adapters looks very good. I had no problem screwing existing R12 hose fittings to these adapters and connecting and testing the R134a system. I haven't had any leaks and basically these adapters have allowed me to use my old A/C manifold sensor with R12 hoses/fittings on R134a vehicles. I bought these to replace the quick couplers that came with my A/C gauge kit. The ones that came with gauges had screwed handles to open the Schrader valves, and one of them was leaking. I got a replacement but it didn't even fit the valve. Luckily I ordered them as a backup.
