These candles work very well and the light is perfectly dim. They are not too bright but let in enough light. It is possible to make them flicker or remain motionless. Very nice to complement the design of the table.

Candles are beautiful. Surprisingly, batteries were included. However, it became very disappointing when six batteries failed. I had several AAs and used mine to finish. I have them on flickr and will see how I like them.

It's beautiful! I also bought wooden candle holders separately from Amazon and they are so beautiful together! They're not super bright, but they're beautiful and the remote control is a great bonus! It's very convenient that you don't have to turn on and off every single switch!

Not only are these candles fantastic, the customer service is excellent too! I bought them for my Christmas show last year and have kind of lost the remote ever since. I contacted the company for a replacement. They don't sell the remote control for this particular model but they send it to me anyway.

We use them for altar candles for our small church. Because they're remote controlled, we don't have to worry about butt curling up (like the cheaper models we've had before), and because they're battery operated, we don't have to worry about wax. They don't "flicker in sync" so they look good.

Candles don't look real up close. They have a flicker mode, but the flame part is a tricky part. Has no wax coating. But they look good from a short distance and come with a remote control. I have previously purchased a pair with a "moving" flame. They were expensive and one didn't work so I went with these.

These candles were exactly what I was hoping for at the Diner en Blanc event I attended. They have a waxy body and look like long, tapered candles, but with a flameless tip. There are two flicker speed options that can be controlled from the remote (which I sadly lost at the event), but they work without it by screwing the base in or out. They replaced my regular candles on my dining table as it's much easier to just light them up in the evening to create an atmosphere.
