I wasn't impressed. Seen on TV. can be used underwater. I put it on a tube with a small hole. I waited for the hose to dry. everything completely covered. After 30 minutes the hose was leaking as before. Waste 19.99.

We bought this product for our pool cover. We bought two rolls to patch it up. Part of the tape was glued under water and the other half above water. This lasted about a month before it began to flake underwater. The product is good and very sticky, but I wouldn't recommend using it underwater for a long time.

I would give zero or negative stars if possible! I was trying to fix a small leak in the water hose. When I applied the tape, the hose was completely dry. The tape failed as soon as I turned on the water and water started squirting out from under the tape. I turned off the water, applied more tape (overlapping with the first application), turned the water back on, and water started splashing out from under the tape again. This is an EXPENSIVE Scotch that doesn't seem to perform as advertised.

I gave this one a 1 star based on an ad where this product was sold as if it would stop leaks. I tried this product on a PVC pipe that had a rip in the middle and although it slowed the leak, water was still coming out of the seal. I also have a pool and just to test the tape I wanted to see if I could stick it to the wall of the pool underwater and a piece of tape just floated away. Ok first let me say this is the MOST tape I've ever used. A few years ago, our son was mistaken for the Sonic Drive-Thru sign and dented (actually cut) the rear passenger-side door. It's old but reliable, so we used black tape first and then Gorilla tape to seal the 15-inch horizontal slot. Both were unlisted for a long time, so I decided to give this product a try for a change.
