Eh, it would be better if they fit

It seems that they work on all radio bands (WB / AM / FM), I have not tried CB because I have not used it. I just don't like how they fit, too much clearance between antenna base and bracket, see photos.

Good product but NOT flush with the trunk.

Great product. As with some reviews, the antennas are NOT flush mounted to the trunk (2014 flhtk); There is a gap of about 1/8 inch that I will use with heat shrink tubing to eliminate exposed strands. Otherwise cool, no noticeable reception loss.

Great Product: Antenna Pads

I installed these on my 16 year old FLHTK to replace the factory whip antennas. These short antennas add a sleek look and no longer bump into whips while you work on the bike. They sit perfectly on the bike with no gaps. The radio reception is very good and I'm in South Georgia. The price is excellent. I highly recommend!

Yes, so I'm an idiot

There were times when I wanted to cover my bike because it was going to rain and I was too lazy to put it in the barn. Well, to put the cover on I had to remove two 21 inch antennas. Which I did by putting them on the footboard on the brake side. After a thunderstorm I decided to ride and. ok, you can guess the rest of the story. Yes. I left and forgot about the antennas. Path. I have a 2003 HD FLHTCUI. I bought two of these 7" antennas to replace two aftermarket 12" antennas that I have owned for a while. There was nothing wrong with the 12" other than putting on a beanie when I was traveling. So far I haven't had any issues with the installation. That means I showed an open thread and didn't tighten it all the way. Mine fit very good and I like the way they look. So far the AM/FM and weather band are doing quite well. As for CB, I can't tell yet. There isn't much CB
