Description of GJS Gourmet FLOATING Float Valve & Gasket Compatible with Power Cooker XL - Not Power Cooker Brand

This GJS Gourmet replacement Floating Valve (or Float Valve) and Silicon Gasket is compatible with most models of the Power Pressure Cooker including but not limiting the XL (6 & 8 & 10 Quart), YBD60-100, PPC780, PPC770, PPC770-1, PPC790, PCXL-PRO6, PC-TRI6, PPC773, PC-WAL1, and PC-WAL4. This valve is not created or sold by Power Cooker. Float Valve is part of the lid of a pressure cooker, and is essential for the pressure cooker to work. Under normal situation, Float Valve inserts into the lid from outside to inside. Sealing Ring locks the Float Valve from inside, keeping the Float Valve in place. Sealing Ring is often washed off, leaving the Float Valve loose and the pressure cooker unusable because the steam leaks. This spare part can make your disabled cooker work like new.

The pressure cooker float and sealant are working as intended.

I had to order a new float and sealant for my pressure cooker because my old one fell down the garbage chute and broke. So we ordered it from Amazon and it worked as intended and is still working after 20+ uses.

Pros
  • 1 year trial period
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Satisfied and fast delivery Y

For a long time we did not use our pressure cooker because we thought it was completely broken and although we have pressure cooker insurance they have to spend money on shipping we all know , can cover a fortune. It is good that this part solves the problem immediately.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • I will be silent

Works like new again!

Works like new again. I was wondering why my food is burning in the pressure cooker! If your XL pressure cooker is not working properly, this part may be missing or defective. My husband watched a YouTube video to fix the problem. The way he was complaining made me think it's not that easy, but he made it.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Sparse instructions

but i was so happy to find this little gem and i.

I haven't used the pressure cooker since I bought it but I was so happy to find this little gem and I will be more careful when washing the lid to avoid this one working. I can't come down! I wanted to update my rating. I finally used my pressure cooker and the valve was sealed perfectly! I'm so glad I can use the pressure cooker again!

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Expandable

which was very easy. Works great

I bought this for my Power XL, 8 QT pressure cooker. I found a video on YouTube showing how to install it, which is very easy. It works great! We couldn't use the stove for about a year. Didn't realize I lost the part the last time I used/cleaned it. I couldn't understand why there was suddenly no more pressure. Anyway, after a lot of research we found this and although for the price it would be worth trying instead of throwing away the pressure cooker. Once we installed it worked great, like…

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Quality

Instructions Of course it would be GOOD!

How about including instructions for proper valve installation? NO ONE IS INCLUDED! Firstly, I've never liked using a pressure cooker - then why did the valve fall out when washing? Then the man thought he was doing the right thing and we couldn't close the lid because the valve was installed upside down. After more browsing the internet and reading the literature we got from the PC, we got it right - I was ready to throw the oven away! This is more than important as you/we don't want this damn

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Confusing
