Florsheim Richfield Loafer Black Extra Wide Fit (EEEE) Review

I usually wear a size 8D and it fits me, but the problem with these slippers is that they used a type of leather that's so stiff I got blisters on the sides of my ankle. I am more than satisfied with my first pair that I received from ZAPPOS.

I've been a loyal fan of this particular shoe since the '70s. The shoes impress with their quality and design. This model was discontinued by Florsheim and is hard to find. Despite this, delivery time and quality from the supplier corresponded to those declared. I stocked up on this model and bought 3 pairs. I've been fine for a long time.

The leather of the sneakers is like plastic. The shoes are very stiff, the sole is very hard and the seams on the inside of the sole rub against the sole of the foot. I have bought Florsheim shoes again and again over the years and have been very satisfied, these shoes are junk. I will never buy a pair of Florsheim shoes again.

This is my second pair in the loafer configuration. This is a good general style. You can also get them as tie shoes. The quality is still very good. They are collected in India.

It would have been great if it wasn't for the fact that I couldn't even put my foot in the shoe. I wear a men's 7.5E (wide) as advertised, but they were actually a few sizes too small.

I had the same pair of shoes in the same size for about 15 years so I bought these shoes. They didn't fit. I finally put my shoes on and couldn't walk in them because they were too tight. I don't understand. They are exactly the same shoes and size as my 15 year old pair. But learned a lesson. Don't buy shoes if you can't try them on before you buy.

They come in different widths. Eee suits me. Beautiful appearance, quality for India, wears well. I would recommend. I bought 2 pairs.

shoes are good. A little tight but maybe because they are new. Also, these shoes have a hard bottom, so you'll need to buy washers to attach them to the floor so you don't break your neck if you slip.

It's a good shoe, fits well but it doesn't let my feet breathe so at the end of the day my socks tend to smell but overall I would say it's a good shoe.

I have a pair of Florsheim 10 shoes in size 3E. This 10 5E is about 1/2 inch longer than the 3E, causing it to slip a bit in the heel. The 5E width is perfect. I have not yet decided to return the shoes to a size 9 1/2 as I may be able to resolve the issue by wearing thicker socks. The danger of going to a size 9 1/2 is that I could end up between half sizes and the shoe would be too small. A thicker sock might be a better solution. Absolutely perfect in width. I still have a pair of Flosheim shoes so I decided to use the same measurements, at least for these I should have chosen a wider shoe size, a bit tight :(

The product was returned, the shoes were small. Also, the order was for 8E. While the box said 8E, the shoe inside was 8D. Thanks for attention.

I've been buying these shoes for years. Here's why: First, the shoes have a natural shine that makes them look like they've just been polished, even if they're a year old. The sole doesn't stick out like many modern shoes, so it doesn't stick to things (e.g. gas and brake pedals). I can literally walk down the street in these loafers. To be honest, I can't fault the shoes because they are very small. I read other reviews but everyone has different feet. In no case were they close to 11.5 5 watts. Also surprised that there is NO writing or identification on the shoe box - just a regular brown box. Made me think these aren't real things.

The shoes are a bit big, if I order again I would try one size smaller. I tried both loafers and wingtips and they were both too big. Glad I was able to send them back with no problems. I have another brand and they fit perfectly without going down a size. I heard Flörsheim is bigger.

These are not the shoes I expected. It's different than what I have now. I tried to get a new pair. Is this a copy from Florsheim or from the same company? Looks like my old one is the original and this new one is just a copy. Sometime this week I'm sending it back.

The inner lining is not processed - this completely spoils the look of the shoe. Looks like Florsheim forgot to finish it. Something is clearly wrong with the shoes.

I've had the same show for a while. I ordered the same size thinking the new one would fit. Somehow the seams of the shoes are tight.
