CARBON PRODUCTION: All plants require a source of carbon, and Flourish Excel is a great and convenient source of bioavailable organic carbon. IRON PRODUCTION: Flourish Excel also possesses iron reducing properties, thus promoting the ferrous state of iron (Fe+2), which is more easily utilized by plants than ferric iron (Fe+3). PHOTOSYNTHESIS: Plants must produce longer chain carbon compounds (photosynthetic intermediates). By dosing with Flourish Excel you bypass the involvement of chain carbon compounds and introduce the already finished, structurally similar compounds. TREATMENT: On initial use or after a major (> 40%) water change, use 1 capful of Flourish Excel (5 mL) for every 40 L (10 US gallons). Thereafter, use 1 capful for every 200 L (50 US gallons) daily or every other day. For smaller dosing please note that each cap thread is approximately 1 mL. SAFETY: Flourish Excel is completely safe for fish, however, if you have Anacharis in an aquarium in which you are dosing Flourish Excel, then it is recommended to use it every other day rather than daily.

Healthy Water Solution for Aquariums

Flourish Excel 5 3 Fl Gal is one of the best pet supplies I have used for maintaining a clean and healthy environment for my fish. It is easy to use and quickly gets to work killing harmful bacteria and algae. The added minerals and nutrients ensure that plants in the aquarium thrive. The only downside is the price may be a little steep for some pet owners.

Excellent bioavailable organic carbon for aquatic plants / Excelente fuente the bio carbon para plantas acuaticas!

Seachem Flourish Excel is ideal for planted aquariums, containing bioavailable organic carbon, a substitute for injected CO2 that can be used for aquatic plants. Types of Algae and Cyanobacteria. I recommend using this product with or without CO2 delivery!

eh.neutral outlook in Aquarium Water Treatments

I can't rate this badly or highly. My problem now is the big lid. Opening it isn't as easy as it seems, because if you open it manually you'll be limited in your movements. However, there is a smaller opening on the back. This is smaller than the 500ml cap size (think water bottle) and is NOT pour friendly in terms of how the liquid comes out and pours into the container. You need 2 people to water properly. I'll report back if I find a solution. I recommend taking 4l. the next best thing and…
