Back to using these filters.

Have used them before. Tried another brand and the water flow slowed down as they got dirty. They don't, and that's why I went back to them. The water clarity is also excellent.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Only available in white

The tastiest water with these

I have a rainwater harvesting system and my 2 paper filters have to be changed every 2 months. They filter the dirt very well so I have the best water in the world.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Something is wrong

No coconuts on water filtration and softeners

Not installed yet. They were bought for the next scheduled replacement. Customer reviews should mean they are perfect. No charcoal clogging things, just pure filtration.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Damaged

Excellent filtration without pressure loss!

I used a 20 micron filter in my home made water filtration system at 69psi. After installing this 5 micron filter, the pressure was 69 psi. No pressure drop! I change them every 3 months and you can't beat the price.

Pros
  • Brilliantly Made
Cons
  • Protection

Not the size stated in the description

Purchased for a Watts whole house filter. The description says they were 9-7/8, they are actually 10" and do not fit the device. After reading the filter manual I found that 50 microns is recommended. I bought them and they fit true to size.

Pros
  • Trial for one year
Cons

It's just good filtering.

I'm not sure if this has happened to anyone else. My house runs fine through a 5 micron filter and then goes unfiltered into the sprinkler hoses. My hoses of (unfiltered) water smell like sulphur. A 5 micron filter prevents it from entering our home and devices. I am very impressed with these filters at the moment.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Approximately

Keeps the ice machine running

I have this 5 micron sediment filter in combination with https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077TZVNKW/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A36MEEW8Z1EZDE&psc= 1 complete with two cartridges in front of my Scott ice maker. I rebuilt ice machines every year or two ($1,700 each) before installing the filtration system. My ice machine is over 7 years old, immaculate, free of debris and producing crystal clear ice. Put a double filter unit in front of the ice machine!

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Good but not great

We have been using these water filters for a number of years. We installed a UV system to clean our borehole water system and the company we bought the system from advised us to use 5 micron filters to prevent sand in the water from penetrating the glass bulb and the Quartz sleeve destroyed. Our well pump specialist says 5 micron filters are unnecessary and a waste of money, but it makes sense for us to protect the piston and sleeve, especially given their cost. We've never had a problem with…
