Modest Demon in Performance Parts and Accessories

2016 Silverado 1500. I wanted to wake the truck, not the neighbors. Super 10 does just that! I left the resonator on, but immediately took it out because it made practically no sound with it. The sound is great at startup. Moderate rumble at idle. There is no drone in the cockpit. The demon only comes when you step on the gas. The muffler shop charged me $100 to have the resonator installed and removed. Very satisfied!

Pros
  • Complete Set
Cons
  • The list goes on.

LOUD AND PROUD! - Performance parts and accessories

I have the latest GM truck with a base 5.3 engine. I added headers and 3" pipes to accommodate this muffler. While my engine is no match for a V8 Camaro or a Corvette, you might not even notice it when I step on the accelerator. The sound is exactly what I was hoping for. !I switched from a 5" x 23" muffler that sounded "good" to a 5" x 13" sound machine. For the little money I paid for it, I'm happy with it.

  • Looking forward to

Great idle sound for a standard Chrysler 300

At the time this muffler was only $44, the price seems to be going up but at the price I bought it's worth it. My 2008 Chrysler 300 LX with a 2.7 liter V6 engine had a great deep tone at idle. There was definitely a lot of hum at 1.75-2.8k rpm, and it was pretty noticeable, but I ignored it. Some of my fellow passengers also got annoyed after a while, but I think it has to do with the area. I crashed the car anyway, so hopefully the junkyard scavenger will like that muffler too.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Used this on my 1995 GMC Sierra 2500 5.7L V8, actually bought two of these. Went to the local muffler shop and installed them on my truck. It has a deep, aggressive drone and I can honestly say it was the perfect sound for me. Not too loud, not too quiet. While it's labeled "Flowmaster's most aggressive muffler," it's not as loud as I expected. While this sounds good to me, I can see why it might put some other people off. I installed it today and have no regrets! Highly recommended if you are…

Pros
  • Solid finish
Cons
  • Damaged
