I've been using it for years and it's great for feeding my crickets. It's much better than drowning in a bowl of water or using a sponge that becomes very uncomfortable after 24 hours. Constantly cleaning the sponge isn't something I want to waste my time on. So this is the best way to ensure they have water free of dirt.

Great product to prevent dehydration in crickets. The crickets seem to love it, and my son's bearded dragon appreciates cute, plump crickets. However, the delivery needs to be processed. Upon delivery, the lid came off and the cricket extinguisher fell into the box. Luckily, I managed to scoop most of it back into the jar.

Bought for my hissing roaches which I bought at Josh's Frog's. To be honest, I've never seen my little friends eat it, so I'm wondering if their diet is getting them all the hydration they need. Also, it's cheap, easy to use, safe, and when the gel dries you can put some water on the plate and hydrate it. Definitely recommend.

Just think, you don't actually need to buy this product to keep your crickets hydrated. If you want to save some money, just google how to properly water your crickets.

What I love about this product is that it weighs 7.5 pounds and saves me a lot of time from trips to the pet store. Petco doesn't even have large containers of cricket extinguishers. I will order this product again when it runs out. I'm so glad you guys sell big containers of cricket mutes. That's enough for me for a few months and it's good that my food insects eat a lot.

After years of holding crickets I've found this to be the best way to keep them hydrated without them to drown. I just keep a plastic spoon in the jar and fill it up as needed - they dry out depending on how dry the air is and the crickets use more when it gets hotter. At the same time, the goods are stored for a very long time. Even such a small container will last for months with large crickets in my area in the summer.
