It takes small hands to find them useful. Used them to darn stockings and most girls liked the idea of having them in their purses or in their cars.

I bought these to use on my badge at work as a nurse for cutting bags and other stuff. You have to be careful with them because they are tiny and sharp! You have to be careful and pay attention when you close them.

I understand they were originally cheap but I expect they do what they are advertised to do. They actually cut well, but don't easily fold back into the closed position. Of the 16 in the order, only 4 went without a fight. i will return it

Cute scissors for small sewing projects should have been a 2020 graduation gift. Scissors open normally, cut normally, close only halfway. They are cheaply made and I should have known that 16 scissors at such a low price were junk. I think these "clap scissors" should always stay OPEN.

They're perfect to complement emergency kits, sewing kits and more! The scissors are very sharp and it's great that they fold up for safety. It is important to NEVER force them in as you will need to align the blades without using your fingers and close them gently. One of them got stuck because someone forced it closed, making it incredibly difficult to fix. Be very careful with this! I had to throw away a pair as its fixation caused one blade to misalign, then close cleanly.
