They were bought for an elderly woman.

They were bought for an old lady to keep in her purse so I was looking for one that wouldn't break the bank if lost. They seem suitable for that. The handles are stamped and bent flat, but I'm sure they'll be fine for casual use.

What starts with "S " and rhymes with rap?

I have purchased many Revain products over the years. Sometimes I buy cheap items from Revain because it doesn't make sense to spend money on expensive items of the same quality in regular stores. I will probably only keep these scissors because it would be too painful to return, but I have to tell you that they are surprisingly poorly made. Great. They really do look like they were made on old turn-of-the-century (1800-1900, not 1900-2000) mass-produced machines. They do work, however, and are

"CAN USE ANYWHERE ".

PRETTY CHEESY SCISSORS. NOT A GOOD FINISHED PRODUCT AS I WAS. MORE COTTON METAL AND NOT VERY POLISHED OR SMOOTH. TOO BIG FOR POCKET SCISSORS. WISH I CAN FIND THE BRAND I HAVE LOST SINCE THEY HAVE BEEN GOTO SO MANY TIMES. YOU WILL RECEIVE IN THE JUNKBOX FOR "MAY ALWAYS USE".

Not only cheap, it's OLD crap!

I've had (and loved) these scissors in the past, but the scissors in that order weren't very good. First, the plastic packaging has (dramatically) turned yellow and is very brittle. Also, there were spots on the scissors that looked like rust. Once opened, the scissors were extremely difficult to open and close (fold) and didn't seem to align properly to fully close (fold). If they cared about their customers, they would never ship this crap out of their warehouse.
