Stunningly elegant

I have loved all of Cheryl Oberle's patterns for years and have knitted quite a few. In fact, I'm knitting one of her jackets right now. Next, I'm planning one of their vests. They're timeless, accessible to advanced knitters, and so beautiful. Your instructions are correct and you simply can't go wrong. If you are looking for exotic shapes and colors, this book is probably not for you. Oberle is always elegant, tastefully reserved and therefore timeless.

I've been knitting for four decades now and there aren't many books on the market that make me think "There's a Hafta!". Folk West by Cheryl Oberle is one of those books! Versatile, unique design. Precise and simple instructions. Beautiful photos and clear illustrations. I'm missing a separate drawing/sketch listing the actual dimensions of each design for each size. I borrowed this book from my local library and was so amazed by the designs that I added it to my personal knitting collection . It has a wide range of patterns ranging from easy enough for beginners to challenging for experienced knitters. The author has adapted these classic patterns for modern knitters.
