🔐 FoodSaver FA2000 Handheld Sealer Attachment - Compact Clear Sealer, 2.40 x 4.00 x 4.00 inches Review

The product came with a faulty plug that needed a secure fit in my FoodSaver. I later found out that the plug was defective. FoodSaver will not replace a defective part. Support chat was slow and unhelpful. Let the buyer be alert!

The vacuum port on the large FoodSaver main canister keeps popping out. It's useless. My husband held it while I sucked on a few small pouches. I will try to send it back. Bought last January and I'm a light user. I see that there is now another model on offer. Should I buy another one?!

This works great but foodaver made a huge mistake with this design. That's why our first one broke. The little green plastic piece that snaps into the food container is very cheap plastic and will eventually break again because it's poor design for something that has to be plugged in and unplugged with every use!

This was my repair for the V4400 feeder where the hose cannot be removed. I previously broke a small green rod when I switched from a glass accessory to a bag accessory. I used a 3/16" fitting to connect the old hose. It would definitely be easier to put in a 1/8" fitting. It's been a few weeks and it's still poetry great

I have found it necessary to purchase three (3) replacement parts for this accessory. The "nozzle" used in the vacuum sealer always breaks because the notch on the plastic ends causes one side to come loose. This requires holding both ends, and since I only have two working hands, I figure only one other hand can press the button to start the vacuum. Disappointing AND expensive.

very brittle. Must be changed every 2-3 months with normal use. We now have our fourth replacement and they all break down in the same way after almost the same amount of time. This is clearly a product defect and I am very tired of paying $15 every few months to keep using my vacuum sealer. Foodsavers: When will you solve this problem?

Stay away from the Food Saver brand as the customer service is terrible and the products are of poor quality. The rubber on this item, which is attached to a food storage container, came loose after about 2 months of use. Also, the twisted air hose is a terrible design because it never leaves the plug in the car. Also, the connectors are plastic, poorly designed, and will fail within a few months. I bought over 20 hoses and all of them eventually broke. If I find another brand I will change it…

I ordered this to replace my original which had cracked plastic after several years of use. The replacement never worked well out of the box. I thought maybe it's my accessory port not holding suction/connection? nope The port is fine. Something strange mechanically in the nozzle head. I have to make it work by "applying" it to the soft part of my palm. Once I get my hands on it I can clip it to the top zip opening of my bag and it sucks great!
