Everyone in the comments made me very nervous about buying them. I like the color and the look though. So I dared. I'm glad I did. It didn't get wet at all and the day I got them I was playing at 7:08am. They look and feel great and are a perfect fit for my size. I have the wide one because I like its comfort. Excellent purchase!

I ordered 8.5 wide in two colors (2 pairs) back and gray through wardrobe to try them out. The gray was at least 1/2" taller, although both have the same size tags. So I think it's just a question of quality. I left the black which fits well and is comfortable and brought back the gray. So beware of sizing issues.

I've been trying to find an X-wide (6-ee) size 12 for a number of years. Finally, FootJoy offers them in multiple styles. I have played and run in these shoes several times and have found them very comfortable. It's nice to finally get comfortable and beautifully designed golf shoes. They are not waterproof but are very light and dry quickly after playing.

I got this shoe after lots of reviews. Some people have claimed that the FJ shoes are not waterproof as they claimed. I can tell you my first ride was after an inch of rain so there was a lot of water and mud and my feet stayed dry for 18 holes. The shoes are also very comfortable, offer good traction due to the lack of traditional cleats and perhaps best of all, they are easy to clean for white-soled shoes.

It turns out that the footjoy's "size chart" is correct when comparing heel and toe sizes. which I'd like, but if you're like me, and go "I'm from UK 9" (which I've been for 35 years).
