I bought this part to fix a vacuum problem I was having with a 2014 Ford E350. It worked great, now the air conditioning blows through the vents again when the engine is under load.

Good factory check valve for converting the vacuum tank. There are videos on YouTube of moving the vacuum tank to a more accessible location and this little check valve is perfect for this project.

Prevents hubs from rubbing when going uphill. Experience has shown that replacing it together with the solenoid valve will make the problem go away.

If your air conditioner starts blowing out the defrosters when you hold the selector switch on the dash, this is probably what you're looking for. You'll find it right between the battery and the firewall. The factory check valve is probably leaking, same as mine. Easy to install as long as your pipe connections are still in good condition.

I used this check valve to bypass my Econoline van. Connected to the vacuum line on the engine, routed the hose to the new vacuum reservoir which I hid under the battery and connected the third connector to the hose I routed back inside. It works great, so thanks for the check valve!

Nothing works quite like factory parts. If you have a Ford and the airflow for the air conditioning comes out of the vents under hard acceleration, then this is most likely to blame. Do yourself a favor and get a factory approved part. Aftermarket products don't perform the same or as well. The price was good and the delivery excellent as always.

If your cabin exhaust air switches to continuous de-icing then it is because it is defective or the vacuum line is cracked or defective. A plastic vacuum line costs up to $1 per foot. Just make sure you need 2 ways. Some Ford modules have a path. Just plug the other nipple with glue. but chances are your Ford Merc Linc 4.6 or 5.4 will require this part.
