Direct factory replacement

Very easy to install and works perfectly. I've had it for a few months now with no problems. We live in a golf cart community where kids drive them to school and they are in high demand all the time. I'm glad I didn't listen to local sellers and pay double what I paid for the "factory".

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Works well at half the price

2 original Club Car switches failed within a year not because they were defective but because the wire lug had worn out, had high resistance and was getting hot. I paid the dealer $400 the first time but they let the faulty terminal through so he messed up the counter again. These switches work fine as long as the terminal connections are good and stay cool, so replace or clean those bad terminal connections. I fixed it myself for less than $100

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Only available in black

I wish I had bought one sooner.

My golf cart gave me intermittent problems that got worse over time until it just stopped working. The problem started with the golf cart simply not responding to the accelerator pedal at times. Then he got to where he sometimes couldn't stay in reverse. Both problems worsened over time. It turned out that my old switch was defective. I posted an installation video on my WJ Handy Dad Youtube channel so you can see how easy it is to do it yourself.

Often breaks and fails

Club car switch works erratically. It took us several weeks to figure out why our golf machine ran randomly and not on the same day. When you press the gas pedal it worked, it didn't work. then work. and doesn't work. Finally, we note that this Golf Kark King Club Car Heavy Duty Forward and Reverse Switch (1996-Up) DS 48 Volt Golf Cart has a Crack in the plastic that is preventing the switch from making good contact. When we spotted it, it was outside the return window to Revane.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Some issues
