ordered seven out of 8. Six (6) worked perfectly, one had to be fiddled with to install the code and the one in the picture had serious problems. The reset button at the bottom has to be pressed to set the code for the lock and it won't budge. Looking at it I got the impression someone else was trying to push him and he had no luck. Too late to reorder.

Locks are an upgrade for my Osprey (shuttle) and PacSafe (shoulder bag). Locks appear solid and bright colors can discourage thieves from thinking about stealing items and turning to another target. Unfortunately there are no instructions on how to set up the combination and the FOSMAN website is not very helpful. You should be able to press the latch and turn the dial to set your own code, but the dial will only turn when locked. I've watched several videos and tried everything but stupid things don't work for me. My only guess is that my hands are too weak to push as hard as the job requires. Another product not suitable for those with fragile or weak hands if that is the case. I'm sending it back but it's too late to buy anything before the trip 😡

Got them in the mail and started learning how to use them. Setting up our own private combination was very easy, and it's set up so you can't tell what the combination is by flipping the toggle switches. We took padlocks with suitcases on a trip last weekend and we passed all the checkpoints with no trouble. It was easy to tell when security opened the locks and suitcase and when not. Despite all the shocks they experienced, they continued to work like clockwork.

We got this set before our last trip and they are doing a great job. The combination was easy to change when unlocked, and I couldn't "calculate" the combination like I could with many other dialpads (yes, I'm trying this, as someone else will probably try this with worse intentions than mine!) When the locks arrived I programmed them all with the same code. Just tried using them for the first time over Thanksgiving and the black and pink locks don't seem to stay locked after getting the numbers mixed up. Only the blue and silver locks work as intended. 50% really sucks. As I've already passed the 30 day deadline, let's see if Revain or Fosmon are interested in swapping the two locks. Setting your own code is very easy - just follow the instructions on the packaging. I really like the button function that allows you to open it after unlocking it. It's a bit bigger than I would like a luggage lock to be, but that's ok because I didn't buy it for luggage. I was tired of my 2 year old painting all the walls so I got my 5 year old to lock up her crayons and markers in a little tool box.
