3' RCA Subwoofer Coax Cable

I recently remodeled my home theater, built a new TV cabinet and installed another subwoofer. The subwoofer required a different cable to connect the speaker to the receiver; My goal was to hide any dangling speaker wires and various power cords. I went online and found and bought a FosPower 3' coaxial cable. It arrived on time, was accurately described and the price was right. The 3" cable was perfect for my project.

Upgrade from old cable

Very good cable! I have a MiniDSP 4x2 between my receiver and my home built subwoofer (1000w 12 inch 3 foot sealed cube) and the cable used was not very good. What bothered me the most was the lack of sensitivity. Usually I had to turn up the volume. to wake up the subwoofer. I replaced it with this FosPower and it made a huge difference. Now I can hear the subwoofer turn on at low volume as soon as any frequency is sent to it. The cable looks like it is well made and will last a long time…

First, I would spend $39 on a digital cable.

I bought this cable and others just to see if there is an audible difference between the cables. Yes, and of the 4 sub $39 cables I tried, this was the lightest cable I can see where some speakers need it. I'm just as shocked as everyone that coax digital cables sound different. It's a fun experience to listen to at least one song, change the cable and listen again. Plus, after an hour of listening, it's much easier to tell the difference.

Cables work great! I decided to take action against them.

cables work great! I preferred these cables to the Monoprice RG6 cables I bought, but after comparing the two I think I'm leaning towards the Monoprice RG6 cables due to the quality of the end connections. As an aside I have purchased a couple of FosPower Digital Optical (S/PDIF) cables and will say that the quality of these cables is superior to anything I have worked with. Ultimately a great brand but I think they could improve these cables a bit over others.

Short, strong connection.

When I bought a rather expensive soundbar for our bedroom TV, I realized I needed an audio cable to connect the bar to my TV. (The panel came with an optical cable, and the TV doesn't offer that connectivity.) Ideally, the cable should be no longer than a meter and provide an "audio" connection. (Sorry, couldn't resist the pun.) I've had bad luck with a few nearby shops where they either didn't stock them or the supply was too long. I found FosPower through AMAZON and am very happy with it. It…

EXACTLY what I needed!

Really great digital coaxial connector! The only thing that bothered me was the length. I would have preferred 4' if it had been available at the time. I needed this to transmit digital audio signals from a player in one room to a receiver in the next room. This cable runs inside the wall and connects to the back of the coax connector panel on each side of the wall, allowing you to connect a device on each side of the wall to a coax connector on its side of the wall (seemed better than just a…

At first these cables looked and felt like great quality. However, all 6 different length cables I've purchased had the braided shield and Mylar coated 75 ohm cables cut too short, so those few layers of 75 ohm cable weren't even attached to the cable. Plug as is normally made for a secure and powerful plug connection where the core of the cable is attached to the plug. The plug's visible orange shell is plastic and has "molded" threads in it, and it is onto these plastic threads that the…
