I didn't expect them to work well - I was wrong

I've been using reading glasses for many years and have the endless problem of putting them on to read and taking them off to see things differently. put them back on, read, lean in closer to see the computer, lean back again, soap, rinse, repeat. My optometrist recommended progressive lenses so I could have a prescription for close-up reading, a separate prescription for computer work, and a top no-prescription prescription so I could see far. I didn't want to buy prescription varifocalsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Stylish, truly multifocal and comfortable

I love these new multifocal glasses from Foster Grant! After seeing their commercial on TV I decided to give it a try and they are amazing! I'm new to wearing reading glasses - everyone jokes that it's a birthday gift around 50, but it's not a gift. While some glasses may be stylish, I find them annoying and uncomfortable. It's a hassle to put them on and take them off and then wear them for a few minutes when I need them again - maybe just to read the menu. Uncomfortable because I don't needโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

I'm a professor so I read a lot and sit in front of the computer a lot. I love the progressive nature of my (custom made, insanely expensive) regular progressive glasses because I hate taking my reading glasses off and on. However, for athletic and aesthetic reasons, I prefer to wear contact lenses for most of the day. What to do? Well, I started looking everywhere for ready-to-use progressive reading glasses so I could economically switch between reading, using the computer, and walkingโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks
