I give 5 stars because it does what it's supposed to do. May fail if easily broken as some reviews suggest. But until then (and it will probably be my fault) the repeatability is good. .0001-.0002 in both directions turns the light on and off. The point of this review is to clarify that when I took the part out of the box I first touched it with a piece of metal thinking it would catch fire. nope Then he squeezed with his hand. nope I removed the battery and wanted to buy a new one. Put it inโฆ
First ordered worked 1 time probably 30 minutes after I got used to the device. Then he froze. The second seemed DOA. But. I've tried a few things and it turns out that the mount I'm using isn't conductive. I placed a piece of scrap aluminum between the milling machine table and the workpiece. And voila! It works out. So review correction: 1 star to 4 stars, no refund. Still -1 star because I can't be the first to encounter this issue and I'm wondering if there have been other bugs/DOA due toโฆ
Good tool with great precision when it works. As others have said, the tool may not always work when used. It looks like the design of the battery cover is such that moving the tool can cause the batteries to become disconnected. This is already apparent after a short period of use when installing and removing the tool from the machine. What worked a few seconds ago when touching the other edge suddenly stopped working. This problem can cause damage to the tool or part when it is moved to touch
