🥣 Fox Run Large Mixing Bowl - Ideal for Baking & Food Prep - 14.25 x 14.25 x 6.25 inches - Metallic Finish Review

I bought this bowl to store cleaning water in the kitchen sink. I use water throughout the day for light cleaning and change the water daily so there is always soap and water in this bowl. I used the previous stainless steel bowl for many years until finally a hole appeared in the bottom. I will be replacing this bowl but keeping it for other uses as it is sturdy and looks good.

It's a little smaller than expected but better than the bowl it replaces. Good plate, no posts. The only thing she wished was that the adhesive on the label wasn't that difficult to remove. Otherwise a good bowl - I'm considering buying another one. Update 11/12/19 Wife is very disappointed with this bowl. It was good when I bought it, but it's starting to rust and she'll throw it away once she finds a replacement. It's supposed to be stainless steel.

The mixing bowl is just great. The problem is that I couldn't visualize the size of a thing using pictures or dimensions. It turns out it's too big. My wife remarks that it's bigger than our plate. It definitely holds the batter I'm cooking and frees up the mixing bowl my wife uses to make soups. This causes problems in the downstairs fridge and takes up most of my shelf. I'll eventually replace it with a smaller one after figuring out how to elegantly remove this one.

This 1.25 liter bowl fits perfectly in my Presto pressure cooker. Outside diameter is 7-1/8 inch measured flange to flange. The inner diameter of the disk is 8.5 inches. This leaves enough space to pull it out with your fingers and a cloth. Height 3-1/8 inches. I can cover it with aluminum foil to keep some foods from splattering. I LOVE THIS BOWL I wish there was a mixing bowl like this! I've been making dog food for about 11 years. and have used different kitchen bowls for mixing raw and cooked, so I use a quick pot, pressure cooker for cooked foods, and large bowl for cold and uncooked when mixing hot with cold. I don't need time to turn them on to just heat food and I can put food in plastic containers which I then freeze, thanks to the maker of these bowls, love mine so much!

I have bought 3 of these bowls and also 4 of the 8 liter models. I'm going back now to buy more of this size because I use them all the time. My favorite feature of the bowl is that it is very easy to clean in the dishwasher. Due to the way the rim is made, water will not collect anywhere on the bowl. (Rust isn't a problem.)
