Works as it should. I just use .

Works as expected. I use a small amount of nonstick spray between tortilla presses for easier removal. It's also a good idea to pry up the edges with a knife before attempting to remove the tortillas from the press.

Pros
  • House and kitchen
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Works as advertised.

Does exactly what it's supposed to, squeezes out tortillas. If I were asked to troubleshoot, I would say that there is no "anti-jamming" feature in this unit. That means you can press the handle hard and the cake will turn out too thin on one side and normal thickness on the other. It also has a recipe for flour tortillas which they are happy to provide. I only eat corn tortillas so I haven't tried the recipe yet, but it's a nice addition nonetheless.

Pros
  • Quesadilla and Tortilla Maker
Cons
  • No mold required

I've been on a flatbread baking wild lately and this is the second of three presses I've tried. What I initially liked was that it's cast aluminum, which is lighter and requires less cleaning than comparable cast iron models. Then I tried to use it. Yes it works, but I'm having a much harder time extruding a decent cake that fits the aluminum model compared to others made of cast iron. I'm certainly no pro, but I've made my share of tortillas. If you're new to the game, I think save some fat…

Pros
  • Optional Equipment
Cons
  • Expensive Insurance
