Works as expected, best in fittings

Purchased this item to use with my homebrew system which is now all stainless steel and silicone. The part is well made, well machined and fits perfectly with all of my other 1/2" NPT parts

Good, not great: Connectors

I expect the spikes to be very tight on the hoses. This does not form as tight a seal as we would like. Since the situation is not related to high water pressure, it is (barely) enough. However, it seems well made and it's hard for me to imagine it failing. It would be nice if a female nozzle washer was included in the kit.

Pros
  • Push-in connectors
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

F-NPT Out of Specification - Fittings

Received two fittings that looked fine at first glance. The wall thickness around the hex looked thin but I figured not to worry it was negative pressure. Went for a test landing with matching parts. The first fitting is completely filled with grease, indicating an excessive taper. The second fitting fully engages after 1/2 turn, indicating the cone is too small. They're so far out of spec that you're lucky enough to be able to seal 30psi without leaking (average house pressure). You can…

Cons
  • Crumpled Package
