For use with Franke water filtration canister models FRCNSTR, FRCNSTR100, FRCNSTR-DUO-1, FRCNSTR-DUO-2. Install available FM100 bluetooth water quality monitor to know precisely when your filter needs replaced (sold separately). Water consumption: 0.5 gallons_per_minute.

What happened?: Replacement water filter

I bought this filter a year ago. It was normal and lasted 6 months. I ordered it again on September 9th and now it just drips. It only lasted 30 days! That can't be from Franke! Does Revain deal with bad salespeople or do customers just catch the wave? Lord, a month!

Excellent filter. Good condition

Used for many years. I change every 6 months. Great flow and great filtration. I recently got one that doesn't appear to be filtered at all as the water tastes very unfiltered. I will call FRANK to complain. Probably bad this time.

Expensive but easy to swap out without much hassle

Replace your filter with an original branded filter and make yourself no worries about fitting problems. I did this for almost 2 years on my first filter, eventually it got so slow I had no choice but to replace it. It took a few minutes to swap out the new one and I'm back up and running with clean water.

Filtered water comes out like a faucet

Based on my PPM meter, the water that comes out of this filter is at best the same as my tap water. This is after you've let it run for a while, otherwise the PPM will be even higher than a faucet! Although the water smells a little. So I end up using my desktop filter to filter better.

The filter from day one gives an unpleasant aftertaste of water and slow water flow. not reliable

When I first bought this replacement filter it lasted about 3-4 months, second filter from day one I had a weird water taste on and thought that maybe if you let the water run a little it will go away, but now after a few weeks it's getting worse and the flow is already slowing down. Is there a problem with this filter or do I have a used filter? I'm thinking of throwing away that Franke system and getting a local reverse osmosis with reliable filters

Very happy with filtration and water softeners

We use this with our Franke cold and hot water dispenser. The taste is noticeably better. Our tap water can have a slight taste of algae or chlorine. Filtered water is fresh and crystal clear. For the bacterial paranoiac, you'll appreciate the level of filtering. You can research this on the Franke website. If the water flow becomes too slow for you, simply remove the filter and shake off the dirt from the outside of the filter. I did this about three months after installing the new one…

Excellent original filter for FRC06 / FRC06-CAL

Original filter for Franke filter systems. Appears to be compatible with FRC06-CAL (which is no longer required in California). Seems to work just as well as the original. We get out of ours for about 6-8 months before it slows down to the bare minimum. We take it out and clean it with a toothbrush and get a little more life out of it but only 1-2 months more. Full recovery replacement is a process we are gradually forgetting as it slowly decreases the flow rate over time. But we love our…
