No burns and so cute!

I really like this oven glove! I think a lot of the pot holders look like they were made for your grandma but it's so much fun and I love my cooking. I also really like the thickness and the silicone grips. I have a hard time finding oven mitts that effectively protect my hands from hot pans, but this one is great! It is definitely well insulated. I think it's the perfect gift for a fun person, but other than that it's great quality too.

Sas full display in the kitchen

This is a really cute little slim pot holder that makes me laugh every time I see it. It's currently hanging on a hook in my office kitchen getting the funniest looks from new people and I'm here for it. It's smaller and flimsy, so I don't know if I'd take a 20lb turkey out of the oven, but it's great for getting small pans of toast out of the toaster. There are graphics on one side and plastic or rubber on the other to give you a better grip. Super sweet.

Pot holders or decoration?

Honestly, this is the best of both worlds. I love these gloves so much I bought a second one. I love sayings - they're sharp, funny and witty. I hung them in our apartment near the kitchen because I wanted them to be a decoration too. I could also see them hanging nicely above the stove (but we have tile so I couldn't put a thumbtack in the wall or anything). The only thing is, they're definitely made as potholders because they're nice and thick. I almost wish they were made for a decorative…

Save me from burns

And that's why you buy pot holders. It looks so cute like my grandmother made it and she really wants me to "cannish". These are good potholders, thick enough not to burn you but not so thick that they're difficult to use. My favorite part is the cross stitch that looks handmade. I can't say more about this oven mitt than it's cute and the magnet in the loop keeps it securely on my fridge. I like the succinct sentence and I think that's the best part (except of course I didn't get third degree…

Too cute again

This is my second stitch holder from Fred and Friends. I love them because they are actually cross stitched on the front and then heat screened with embossed cross stitch in beige. The front is white and the lining is beige, forming a border around the white. White on beige looks very classy. There is a loop on the top for hanging. I wish I had a place to hang mine because it's so cute, but I don't have one. So far I've only put these two on the counter where I can still see them. Yes, I would…

So pretty! Very good quality

It's super cute! It's well made and makes a great wink gift. I get a little nervous in the kitchen, especially trying to get multiple meals on time, so this is a good reminder to relax. It's thick and has nice little silicone grips on the back, so it'll definitely come in handy; However, I plan to hang it on a hook for decorative purposes only, to remind me to keep calm. I love all the products I have ordered from this company. They're very funny, but they're also well done. I'll look for fun…

Far exceeded my expectations

I got this because I have a family member who says this all the time and I thought it was cute. I didn't really go into detail because I thought it was just a novelty. But it's actually very good quality. Hand size (although I have a small hand), everything is sewn well, very good thickness. But I assumed the design was just printed onto a cross-stitch style potholder. Instead, it's actually raised, cross-stitched, and as a former cross-stitcher I can say very well done. The back of the pot…

Functional Cross Stitch Fred Pot Holder

I'm a fan of Fred and his swag. It all started in the kitchen when I saw Fred's legendary knife holder. Since then I have loved Fred products for myself and others. These pot holders immediately caught my eye with their perfect cross stitch design and nostalgia. One with perfectly formed flowers. Another with cute hearts and a soup pot. Both have intricate cross-stitch letters in the middle. Then a double take. "Recipe for Disaster" and "Simmering" were never crossed by my grandmother. Each is…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Nice, thick pot holder that gives a twist

We don't just use it to decorate the kitchen. While I'm giggling at the post, it's actually a great thing. It's thick enough that hot steam never seeps through the seams (many new potholders don't work that well). The rubber material on the surface really helps keep the pot or pan in place. The message is not attached. It's a kind of thick rubber ink. But it looks great and seems pretty solid. You can damage or remove parts of it, but you have to try very hard. This will not happen with normal…
