They want $40 for the lost remote control. The GreedyDevice works fine, but the battery cover is loose and the remote button gets stuck when in your pocket. You need to disconnect the camera from the camera.

Compact but efficient. It also supports half shutter release to allow your camera to pre-focus and help you plan your shot better. Both devices use the same size batteries, which is convenient.

Easy to install, even easier to use. Works great close-up or remotely. Caution: Be sure to order the correct model to fit the hot shoe properly. Had to return my surprise gift for the correct model.

So far so good. My only complaint is that there's no power switch to turn the remote off, and tossing it in a bag will blow out the batteries since the button sticks out over the face of the remote. Works like a champ on my A6300

Wireless remote control works as advertised. I love being able to stand anywhere (and quite far away) and work remotely. I think it would be useful to explain that although the REMOTE REMOTE is wireless, its base needs to be wired to the Sony multifunction terminal for the remote to work.

I like quality things very much. I like quality things that are cheap compared to them. I don't use wireless remotes very often, but when I need them they should work perfectly. So can I buy a "famous brand" for 10x the price of the Vello Freewave remote? Or can I risk it with the Cello Freewave Remote? In this case I took a risk as I thought, but Vello turns out to work great! Ten times cheaper. Same quality and reliability.
