Great tent but no military surplus

I don't know if mine is bad. But mine ripped the setup guide wow. Third party vendors are a big problem with returns. I live far out of town so it takes me over an hour to get to the delivery center. It really ruined my Thanksgiving family trip.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Nothing here

Excellent airflow and no condensation after 2 uses.

Installs in less than 10 minutes. quality tent. The supplied pegs are made of steel and are very heavy. I replaced them with aluminum pegs and now I have a solid 4 pound three season tent. Excellent airflow and no condensation after 2 uses. I like it very much, I will order more.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • old

Bought for a trip to the lake. Last minute purchase. It worked as it should, but I'd say it's more for those who like more excess than the average camper. I am not satisfied with the purchase but I would buy another tent if I had to repeat it.

  • Good product for its price

Love the fact that it has a floor

Well made tent. Everything that came with me was brand new. I don't think mine was ever used. It hasn't been exposed to rain yet, but will definitely make it waterproof. Love the fact that it has a bottom. It will be nice when it rains. Probably not the best option for hiking, but it can be carried with two halves of the shelter. * The day has just come when I was able to install it. Not sure if this has been said in other reviews or if the question has been asked, but I have screens on bothโ€ฆ

NEW CONDITION!

My F1 (OD Green) French Army tent arrived today in new, unused condition. As many know, this tent design has gone through many iterations over the years. Mine has the following features: YKK zippered doors on BOTH ends, mosquito net posts, steel pegs (17), mosquito net side panels (with covers) and mosquito net openings on top. The military manufacturer's label says the production date is 1993. The tent has no storage smell. This tent is literally BRAND NEW. Setup was quick and easy. Uses 16โ€ฆ

Excellent tent for the money

I received an incomplete set, 2 poles are missing. Update (11/15/17) The seller has tracked and sent the missing rods. The tent is ready. Excellent quality tent and in excellent condition. The sticks are made of aluminum and are quite light. I replaced the tent poles with aluminum poles to save weight (Home Depot aluminum gutter nails). I've reduced the number of racks to 6 and don't use racks for weight reduction. Having slept in 17F weather with moderate winds I am happy with the purchase. It

Well designed and durable but I sealed the seams.

Tested clean for over 4 weeks; THREE STRONG THUNDERSTORMS no problem. The quality convinces for the price. Easy assembly and disassembly. Thick steel posts (I like it). First I sat in direct sunlight to test the sewing. Sunlight is visible through the seams in the bottom corners, so I sealed them twice with seam sealer (inside and out). I used Gear Aid Seam Sealer, which I brushed onto each inside seam, and Kiwi Camp Dry silicone spray onto the outside seams (for duplicating). Durable material.

Wanted in Camping

Wanted to like this tent. It had a lot of good reviews which made it amazing. Upon arrival, large pieces of the rubber coating on the fabric were falling off, peeling off, or simply missing. It looked absolutely disgusting and the water was coming through those holes like there was nothing there. I've tried Seam Sealer on holes and seams but it made them worse. I even tried applying a new coat of paint to the whole thing but most of the base coat just blisters and peels off if left on theโ€ฆ

Good basic puppy tent at a reasonable price

So far I have used this tent to provide a house guest with a backyard guest room. Seems well done. The set includes a tent, two foldable aluminum poles, 16 steel stakes, two long ropes and 6 short ropes. Setup was easy. It comes with setup instructions. written in french. For those who, like my guest, are not used to dealing with this type of tent, here are the instructions: 1. Fix the tent floor to the ground with 8 stakes.2. Install a pole at each end of the tent. The end of the tent poleโ€ฆ
