The quality was good but the description seems really misleading. My 8-9 year old prefers skinny skinny jeans. I bought these because it was such a great price and I figured the "tailored fit" would be more form fitting than normal but less tight than skinny. He tried them on and swam in them. I should have listened to some of the other reviews and really thought about it before buying. Although listed as "skinny" pants, the legs are just narrow. We bought size 5 and the length fits perfectly! Although the waist is huge - we tightened it as much as possible to keep it in place - but my son says the belt seems odd now.
