They're a bit of an unusual size - the shoes themselves seem a bit big, but the straps are so long and go so high at the front that they don't really fit snugly on the foot and therefore does not help to hold shoes. It's more of a display strap than a functional part of the shoe. If your daughter needs something with a strap that stays on, consider finding another style.

My daughter found them a bit tight and the heel damaged her Achilles tendon. We were able to fix this with a self-adhesive heel pad, but they were firmer after that. Please take this into account when dimensioning. The arch support isn't great in my opinion, but the straps are lower on the foot - they don't go through the thickest part of the foot, but go a little lower, closer to the toes. This allows you to make the step more comfortable. Daughter loves how they look with the double strap.

nice shoes. They are for my daughter's school uniform. The reason I gave the shoe such a bad review is that the straps have round button-like buttons at the ends. Two of them fell off while trying them on! We snapped them back but of course one fell off later and now it's gone. One of the displays now has a bare silver metal pin due to a missing button/button. Very unlucky! If I could return these shoes I would, but we don't have time to look for other shoes as she needs them for school right…
