I made some wooden signs for our cabin.

I made some wood panels for our cabin and was nervous about buying them without seeing them. They arrived exactly as described and worked very well.

Pros
  • Used on CNC machines and other automatic routers, as well as manual and portable benchtop routers.
Cons
  • I'll add later

What happened to quality control?

It looks like the final grind of the drill was wrong. Somehow it passed the test and was sent for sale, which Freud says is not of their normal quality. The tip looked normal on a quick visual inspection, but was not a perfect V-shape. Instead, cut out a V shape with a U shape at the bottom of the groove. Pros
  • Precise sharpening for the smoothest cuts
Cons
  • Long lead time
