I bought these balaclavas for an extra layer of warmth when camping in a tent at night during the cold fall and winter months. They are very flexible/stretchy and warm and easy to breathe. I mostly wore it to bed with a wool hat over it, leaving enough room for my eyes and nose. (Turns out I didn't like it when my nose was completely covered when I slept, lol.) The balaclava also came in handy on a particular high mountain hike and definitely some evening bonfires! I recommend this product!

The Nordic Balaclava is just what I need for cycling in 20-35 degrees Fahrenheit. I'm sure if I ever get the motivation to ride in temperatures below 20 degrees they will still work just fine. The fit around the face is a bit sloppy as it's only one size up, but it's no big deal. Excellent balaclava. Bought to keep my ears and face warm while biking in Boston in the winter and this product does the trick. It fits snugly, but not so tight that it's uncomfortable. Bought for a winter camping trip with a church youth group. It was around 20F at night. Useful. It's a little harder to breathe than without clothes, but staying warm definitely makes a difference. Later I used it for a hike in about 20F, worked amazing. It definitely gets wet from the breath but I guess that's to be expected, it's just that I've never had it and hadn't thought about it before.
