Easy to use. for Baby Care

This thermometer is very suitable for monitoring the children in our kindergarten/preschool during the pandemic. It uses regular batteries which I change every 10 business days, just due to the frequency of use during that time I never get any low battery warnings so I'm not sure of the actual battery life. The room function is also practical, especially in a large building and many monitoring rooms with constantly changing weather in the STL metro area.

Exactly! Easy to use

Very easy to use! Top notch accuracy. I tested it by measuring the ambient temperature in our house and it matched what my thermostat app showed. The display is bright and big enough to read well. I love how light it is and the trigger is easy to pull for an arthritic hand. The lack of forehead contact makes it easy to take readings from an infant, child, or adult. Uses 2 AAA batteries, not included.

Nothing on the box or on the thermometer front sheet. There is nothing on the packaging or on the thermometer that is FDA approved. The only company name on the packaging is Dongguan HCS Electronics Co. LTD located in Guangdong, China. The above ad states that it is FDA approved and includes the regulatory number. The regulatory number refers to the FDA regulatory number, which simply identifies this product as a medical grade electronic thermometer.
