Frye Mens 38MM Leather Black Men's Accessories for Belts Review

I have had a number of Fry branded items and they have all been of excellent quality and have lasted a long time. This belt is a pretty decent belt but could use better craftsmanship. My main issue is the back of the strap. The skin is not smooth, it is actually painted black and the paint is cracking (shown in the photo). I was expecting it to be a bit thicker and with a better leather finish. Otherwise the size is right and it looks nice with the faded buckle.

Well my husband wears a size 36 jeans and I ordered a size 36 because I used to always order the size you wear and the belt needs to be bigger than the size you ordered. So as long as you order a 36 the belt might be a 38 or 40 but correctly marked as a 36 because it is FOR a person who wears a 36. This size 36 is for a person who wears 32. For example. , it fits my son perfectly with a 32 inch waist. So order your size carefully. Otherwise it's a really good belt. It's not quite the quality…

I love the Frye quality but this belt doesn't show that quality. It's fairly simple, thin, with a relief pattern and jagged edges. The buckle is covered with tarnished antique brass. It looks casual, feels durable, is 100% genuine leather, but first impressions don't convey Fry's superiority.
