👔 Frye Men's 38MM Leather Black Belt - Enhance Your Men's Accessories Collection Review

Belt arrived on Saturday. I put it on on Sunday (most of which was spent 9 hours driving) and then again on Monday (walking around town visiting restaurants and bars). In the middle of Monday the loop fell off the belt. It was held together by a tiny thread that snapped. When I took off the belt on Monday night, I found that the thread holding the belt around the buckle had also snapped. The belt looked good and apart from being a bit rough on the inside it wasn't uncomfortable to wear…

Note that this Frye 38mm men's leather belt has the leather embossed throughout the belt. I know; I know; it SAYS it's embossed! But for some reason the embossing on the belt looks kinda cheap and flat and maybe that says something about what I think of this belt. It just doesn't feel as durable or pretty as most of my other Frye clothing and shoes (and I own a few Frye pieces). The belt feels flimsy and isn't constructed as carefully as other Frye products. I hope this doesn't mean Fry's items

I like Fry's quality but this belt doesn't show that quality. It's fairly simple, thin, with a relief pattern and jagged edges. The buckle is covered with tarnished antique brass. It looks casual, feels durable, is 100% genuine leather, but first impressions don't convey Fry's superiority.

I wear a size 33/34" depending on the model. I always get my straps +2 inches for a nice crease above the buckle. Unfortunately, this is not the case. Measure widely. I use the last hole in this belt. Usually the starts the Measuring on the actual part of the belt, not the buckle THIS BELT IS OFF Having said it I would probably get +4" over your pant size I never thought Fry would cut corners.
