📄 Fujitsu fi-7030 Affordable Color Duplex Document Scanner with Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) for Front Office Use Review

I had a previous fi-6130z that worked flawlessly in my home office for years. Ordered this for my law office so I don't have to get up and go to the copy room. It also works perfectly. For high-quality scanning, purchase a dedicated scanner instead of 4-in-1 multifunction copiers.

Installation required repeated efforts but once installed everything works very well. I scan everything from receipts to magazine articles to tax returns. So far this has handled most items I've tried scanning with it. However, I do have a flatbed scanner for things like book pages, magazine articles that I don't want to rip out, etc. Would I buy again. It far outperforms the Xerox scanners I've used in the past. After spending hours working with Fujitsu Technical Support to find out why it would never work, we discovered that the version of the product supplied was intended for the Chinese market . Incompatible part number.

Over the years (15) we have come to the conclusion that Fujitsu scanners are the best. While they may be a higher investment than others, their reliability is second to none. They're like an old Timex, they keep licking and ticking.

It seems to be a really good scanner, but if you want to use it with MAC you need to download a new driver. You must use Image Capture while the driver is running. no support software for MAC. I needed something more comfortable for my wife. but also for me. The return isn't because it's a bad product, it's simply because it doesn't support MAC OS at the software level.

This really is the best scanner. Much quicker than my old Fujitsu which stopped working after 18 years with Windows February 10 update contacted support, they tried to help but in the end it was time to upgrade. Very glad I did.

Bought for our doctor's office, we have a lot of documents after work, we hoped it would speed up the task. But unfortunately for this price and brand it is quite slow.
