Works great so far, good for bait and winch hauling

I only use my boat about 6-10 times a season so this chick hasn't been tested that long. So far very happy with the purchase. Easy to install and works well.

Perfect fit for winches

I was looking for a girl to fit on my boat trailer and I found this one. I ordered and installed, it only took a few minutes to install. The holes for the mounting bolts match my trailer perfectly.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Small parts

Very good, no hardware included

Very well fitting my 14ft angler, I didn't prepare the description too well, it didn't include hardware, luckily I had it from my old one. Who was in my trailer for 22, also Fulton.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Excellent quality and price

I built a boat trailer and put a cheap $35 winch on it. What a waste. It got stuck and gave me nothing but trouble. So I replaced them with this Fulton winch. Doesn't matter! The build quality is excellent and it's rock solid. No problem. I just bought 2 more for other projects I'm working on. I highly recommend it.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Great winch so far. Very happy with it but

Just wish there was an extra mounting hole on the back for the pressure nose pads. It's also not compatible with the bars that go over and hug the winch that you see on the Loadrite models. I wish there was an option to use a mix of nylon/polyester webbing, but they all do these days when the sun is out and heat is ultraviolet. Nothing is stronger or lasts longer than a nylon harness, but the full yellow polyesters are better for long wraps as they don't tangle and already unravel well. Theโ€ฆ

A great winch for hauling groceries and winches

Just witnessed a tragedy that any sailor hopes will never happen to them. When lifting and loading a beautiful boat onto a trailer, the winch strap burst! So I checked my old rusty cable winch again, looked very closely and thought - I can definitely be the next one! I did a review and decided that this was the one I would go for: Fulton 142208. Right out of the box I could say it was better than my old one. Took the old one off, wasn't as bad as I thought it was, in a rusty, weathered stateโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for me
