Efficient Resin & Mineral Tank Filling Funnel - 2.5" x 10" for Optimal Performance Review

Great. Unlike other reviewers, I think this is perfect for my intended use. Thickness of the plastic measured: 1.75 mm. This is approximately 1/14 inch. Would you like to sit on it? no Stand up? no Do you use it as a hopper for anything but lead shot? Yes. My use was to fill resin into a water softener tank. Good - I wish the narrow part of the funnel was widened a bit further (longer) but it's great as it does its job well.

This is handy, but don't expect new resin to just flow out of this funnel. They get wet, have the consistency of an iced drink, and often need to be shaken on the funnel to get the resins to sink. However, I think the work would have taken MUCH longer without her. And don't expect the resins to spill out of the bag, I cut open the entire top of the bag and used a large plastic coffee pot to pick up the resins and pour them into the funnel. This funnel is perfect for pouring cat food from a 16 pound bag into the "reasonably sized" container I use for feeding; This makes buying discounted cat food easier, but makes using a regular container easier. I wanted a funnel that I could use to pour various dry materials into some of the 5 gallon plastic pitchers that I have. It should have an opening wide enough for me to pour something out of heavy, bulky bags into the funnel without spilling them. I also wanted the pour spout (below) to fit the necks of the jars I was planning to fill - small enough to fit but large enough to allow for a reasonable flow rate. Works great. Fits snugly in the hole in the top of the tank and appears to be the correct size. It's big enough to catch all the materials from the shovel, but not so big that you lose your balance, fall over and splash. It doesn't have a tank attachment, so I actually hold the funnel with one hand when pouring from a ladle. It seems perfect for the task it is intended for. Shape and size just right. This works great for its intended purpose of adding a medium to our water treatment. Since I've had it, I've found several other uses for it that I think are more useful than the original purpose. It fits perfectly in the neck of a liter jar. We like to store our dry food in jars, but one of the big challenges is filling them from the plastic bags these items come in. works well for at least a dozen other similar items. That's exactly the right shape for my floor drain in the basement. When I'm cleaning down there, and then I have to put a bucket of dirty water in approx. The 3 inch diameter hole I used to spill or miss made a big puddle on the floor. Now that this is in place, I have a target that even I find hard to miss. So the maximum number of points for the form and my application. However, the material is very thin and brittle (I think it's some kind of styrofoam). I doubt it will survive a hand-height…
