Pros: Rare filing cabinet part of an office suite costing less than $1,000 Cons: 1. Thin material - veneer over chipboard2. The drawers have a double bottom in the depth of the suspension file - unused space below3. False bottom is thin, can hold loose paper but not stacks of paper. Conclusion: I will send back if I don't have to disassemble and repackage.

Looks great put together. But after 2 months of using it for working files, it fell apart. The front top of the face piece has detached from the front. The screws that hold it together just can't support the weight of the cabinet or frequent openings. Unless you're going to use this for a few things for the show, don't buy it. The quality is poor when used for real filing cabinet.

The quality is ok but like all prefabricated furniture I was a bit disappointed after putting it all together. You only have to move a few meters away from him to see the bugs. Can't say enough good things about the seller though. A screw broke during assembly and they sent me a new kit free of charge within a week. There was also great communication about the whole thing.

Easy to assemble but requires 2 people. I wish I had known that beforehand. Looks great in the picture but looks cheap in person. A piece was missing to complete the assembly; called Bush Industries and a replacement was shipped within 3 days. It's heavy (80 lbs!) due to the faux wood, but it doesn't have a solid back (just cardboard) and the drawer bottoms aren't solid (the material is a bit more researched than cardboard). My husband bought this for me for Christmas. I've been watching sidebars for a long time. It took him about 3 hours to assemble the cabinet (he is very handy and very meticulous in assembling). After putting it together, we found that one of the rods used to hang files was broken at one end. It has enough lips to go edge to edge, but I don't think it's durable enough to take the time to organize and hang files. It makes my bottom drawer useless.
