To be honest, they have become a bit more expensive than I thought. But they worked exactly as you would expect. We build our own table because I couldn't find anything the right size for the place. They are ideal for keeping the table level without having to rely on a straight cut of the wood. I would buy again because they worked as they should, I just wish they were a little cheaper

Worked great. Be very careful with small feet. You will need to drill a slightly larger hole than recommended to avoid cracking. I added some construction glue to the hole I drilled to prevent wobble that could break the legs. As an extra precaution, wrap non-destructive tape (duct tape) tightly around the bottom of each leg before drilling to prevent splitting and tearing. Leave it on while you tighten the clasp.

The threaded bolt is too heavy for the job. This means that a regular chair leg is not large enough to drill safely and not disrupt the structure of the legs. A 9/16-inch screw will hold 5,000 pounds or more, but a cheap base is flimsy, and drilling a chair with a regular leg can break if a tall person sits on it often. Before purchasing this product, make sure you have a 3/8" hex wrench to tighten the outer threaded bushing. You will also need a 9/16 "drill". (1/2" only if the legs are larger than 2" x 2" and even then I would still recommend 9/16.) Works as advertised although I thought it would come with a giant Allen key needed to insert the screw into the legs. I had to use pliers to install them properly. However, they do their job. Adhesive felt pads are supplied already attached; I wish they were included separately in the package.
