This bowl is smaller than the photos show. It will probably work well as a travel bowl, but for home use you'll probably need something deeper. However, this is a cute bowl and well made. It stays quite warm if you leave hot water in it before frothing the soap. The foaming can be a little messy as it usually spreads out a bit on the sides. Overall good (especially for the price) but a little deeper would be better.

Need a little bowl for mixing shaving cream for morning routine. Concerned about chrome discoloration and scuffing, but so far, after about a year of use, it still looks good. The chrome also matches the stand for my shaving set and the Merkur 38 HD chrome long handle razor. I have a feeling this bowl should be around $10 or less, but it cost me $17 (hence four stars). It's a decent but not outstanding bowl and it works for what I need. Would recommend to others.

Oddly enough, it's round, chrome-plated and bowl-shaped, so all right. I know I have to say more to qualify but it's a bowl!

I bought these for a brush the razor holder won't hold. That way the brush can either stay in it or if I get the right brush it will pick up drips. It fits well and is a good size. Note: A bar of shaving soap is not very good; It just fills the whole cup.

I gave it to my father for his birthday, but he let me try it. The kitchen will not warp from this, but the tree is better IMHO. The texture of the wood (or coconut shell in my case) helps create better lather.

Of course, when you're in the middle of nowhere and the nearest WalMart is 5,000 miles away, it's great to get what you need. This item is exactly as described and perfect for my needs.

Not very good workmanship Actually it is the same quality and looks like a cat or dog bowl. I had a similar Edwin Jagger bowl and wish I had spent the extra money on it. It's enough to get the job done, but just know that there are a lot better out there.

Excellent shaving bowl. It's big and gets the job done. I'm tired of ceramics that break. Looks like this one will outlive anyone!

This is a cute, simple shaving soap bowl. It looks great, has a nice shine and matches my soap. I am new to shaving with a safety razor and so far it has been good for me.
